The companies included in the agreements were the Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO), Egypt Gas Company, Fajr Egyptian Company, Egyptian International Gas Technology Company (Gastec), Modern Gas Derivatives Company, Natural Gas Vehicles Company (Car gas), Petroleum Trading Service Company (Petrotrade), North Sinai Petroleum Company (NOSPCO), Modern Gas Company (Modern Gas), and Egyptian Company for Appliances Maintenance & Technical Services (Sianco).

The companies will implement these projects in cooperation with a number of civil society institutions, including Hayat Karima (“Decent Life”) Foundation, Misr El Kheir Foundation, Orman Association, Mervat Sultan Foundation, and El Fayrouz Association in North Sinai and the World Youth Organization in Ras Ghareb.

The projects target the strategic pillar of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) for social responsibility, such as health, education, economic development, and participation in presidential initiatives.

This event comes within the framework of keenness on the social role of petroleum sector companies. It is worth noting that social responsibility initiatives and projects are an integral part of the work strategy of MoPMR, which always keeps in mind the social dimension alongside the economic dimension within the framework of working to achieve the goals of sustainable development and the vision of the Egyptian state.
